That was just a teaser... Yeah, I saved a copy of the TFSE form. I removed some of the formatting, but all the CSS styles and form code is intact. PM me if you want it, I suppose.

The Fucking Search Engine Help® (TFSEH®)

You can simply type your search words separated by an empty space. Then each of the search words must be found in that field ('and' by default).

Example: 'proxie anonymous security' is the same as 'proxie and anonymous and security'
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The search engine will find all occurences of your search words, even if they are part of other words.

Example: 'react' will find 'react' as well as 'reaction', 'nonreactive', 'reactivated', 'reactor', 'photoreaction'...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
All searches are case insensitive:

Example: 'nabh4' is the same as 'NaBH4'
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Post No field is a list of post numbers and of post number intervals. Normal operators and round brackets are not supported.

Example: '34 56 - 78, - 12, 90 -' will find the posts 34, 56 to 78, first to 12, and 90 to last.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As operators you may use 'and', 'or', and 'not'. Use parentheses for structuring your query. Only the Post No field does not accept operators and parentheses.

Example: 'amination and (reductive or reduction)'
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You may also use the usual DOS-style wildcards * and ?. * is a placeholder for any 0 or more characters and ? is a placeholder for any single character.

Example: 'catal?st' will find 'catalyst' as well as 'catalist'
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If your search phrase contains the search engines wildcards '*', '?', quotes " , or blanks you have to 'protect' these characters with a preceeding '/' as '/*', '/?, '/"' or '/ ', respectively.

Example: 'flask/?\' will find posts containing the phrase 'flask?' but not 'flasks'.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Alternatively you can quote a search phrase using "...".

Example: '\"who knows where he is?\"' will find posts containing exactly this phrase.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here are some more complex examples:

'reduct and amination and (nabh4 or NaCNBH4) and catal?st'
'newbee or not (" to " bee)'

Hope this helps...

Gather around all hiveophiles, finally after quite some effort a semi working fucking search engine is up and running, not everything is functional yet but sony is sure a lot of bee's will enjoy this. In time more and more data shall be loaded into the search engine, until the hive is back sony will continue to rebuild vital parts that used to bee the hive.

Feedback is always welcome & UTFSE!

" IT'S AAAALIIIIVE" (like the frankenstien movies) Dang leave it to some bees and synth meisters to get the good ol' blood flowin again. This almost feels like the hive again. It's cool to see all this happen. It's like watching a movie about a disaster and everyone pools together the strength and dedication and does theyre part to rebuild..... "We have the power to rebuild it.... Bigger, Faster, Stronger" (6 million dollar man) more corny movie lines...... Good work guys keep it up and we'll be kickin like a chicken in just a few.... Thanks everyone. Peace Out

IT would be AMAZING if TFSE 2.0 searched both synthetikal AND the hive!!

Just a thought. For the record, I really love this page, and hope that we can keep the vibe like it is here; the lack of destructive ego is refreshing!!
