I have a 70% aquaous(sp?) solution of ethylamine, and I need to prepare some anhydrous ethylammonium acetate for condensation of benzaldehydes and nitroalkanes. My idea is to prepare a 1M solution of ethylammonium acetate in IPA using this procedure:

6,44 g 70% ethylamine (100 mmol) and 6,01 g GAA (100 mmol) is added to 75 mL 99% IPA in a 250 mL RBF and swirled until an even solution is accomplished(will probably happen in a few seconds). 2,5 g anhydrous Na2SO4 is added, the flask is swirled for a few minutes, and the drying agent removed by filtration. The solution's volume is increased to exactly 100 mL by addition of IPA.

Will this procedure work, or should I do it in a different way? All comments are welcome.
