i have successfully used benzaldehyde and l alanine to make ppa. could someone please give me a detailed procedure whereby i could produce p2p. someone mentioned ppa plus aluminium chloride and hcl to make p2p. could this be outlined in lay terms for a novice? also can i produce aluminium chloride? thankyou for your due consideration.

firslty thankyou for your replies. in answer to ning,  the 4-mar presented swim with troubles last time. mainly with trying to extract the precipitate after mixing ppa with product of sodium carbonate and urea , (which smelled alot to make.)
i have noticed the thread has progressed and will read it but i would appreciate any knowledge you could impart.
