I just tumbled across with some 2-Formyl-4,5-methylenedioxyphenylboronic acid ..

I was wondering is there any feasible way to get the B(OH)₂ out from it to get our goodie?

Yes I do. I requested a sample of it with other major order I made for the company I work to and got whopping 100grams sample without any further cost. Took it with me and now I'm planning to do something with it
