is there an inexpensive bubbler to disperse gasses into liquids?

The lab versions are very expensive for what little you get. not looking for a fancy glassware type bubbler, just a simple fritted glass bubbler with a length of glass tube attached. These are also called gas dispersion tubes...

The big K/K supplier sells them for about twenty five bucks.

If you search altavista for fritted gas dispersion tube you'd find several links, one being the cheapest of them at $14.

If you shop around you might be able to find a glass bead one at your local pet/fish store.  I say shop around cause not all of the ones you'll find that are glass bead ones will withstand the solvent your likely to put it in only trial and error will tell.  I was able to find one that has been able to withstand repeated contact with toluene with no degrading and only cost $1.49 each.  Good Luck and don't waste the money on the lab ones unless you find no other alternatives.  Pyrex out bubblin things ;-)
