Does any one know how stable the isosafrole epoxide is. Ie.  Can you keep it in the freezer for extended periods of time without decomposition.  I believe mabyee ritter said something about it a while back but a thourough search yeilded nothing.

Ritter stored isosafrole glycol. But I think the pure distilled epoxide can last very long if cool, and protected from light and moisture.

the only thing Uemura can tell is that his anethole expoxide was water clean after destillation but now got a very light yellow touch. Epoxide is stored in a clear glas bottle at room temp. Should put the stuff into the freezer.  :)  Or work it up....

Wouldn't it be great to make a big chunk of epoxide at one time and just keep it in the freezer.  then when ever was nescesary be only 7 hrs from crystals.
