Diphenoxylate question...

The antidiarhea drug lomotil only comes with atropine in it.  I know that part of the reason it has atropine in it is to deter abuse of the drug because of the unpleasant side effects that atropine causes in large doses,  but what type of undesirable side effects does atropine cause?
