the skippy thread
« on: November 24, 2009, 11:17:24 AM »
Well I have read quite a bit of this site now and I must say that there is quite a bit of new
work going on here.

Well enough of the complements and I do belive this will probably get dumped down the vacuum but ..........

I just thought I would say us skippies rock.

our dollar is kicking ass
we have so many psycodelic plants its not funny
we grow most of the worlds opium
we invent a lot of tech including the hills hoist  ;D
our movies are unique and funny  "ahh the serenity"
we dont try and dictate what the rest of the world does

and most of all we know what a knife is  :P

if this thread is kept I would like to use it to discuss ozzie stuff
like footy cricket ozzie tv and how much we cant stand the big brother attitude of the states.

well tonight on win tv the castle is on :)
one of my all time fav's
you got to have a passion for something ahh the serenity
2 seconds latter flys a 747 only meters from there house.

I wonder do all wogs kickbox or what.

Rock on Naf1 were not alone some of the best BEE's were skippies  8)

The AFL is sooo much better than rugby, though.

ye afl is my prefered game as well (kinda shows which part of the country were from though)
I never could get the idea of how you can win a game by passing the ball the oposite way to your goals :D

Did you know in the 1930's there was a shortage of apple pickers in Tasmania so they sent most of the people with disabilities
to tassie to pick apples gave them nice houses and good wages.

this lead to the menzies centre that is the research centre for people with disabilities having children together and what parts
of the genetic code gets carried over.

hence were the idea that tassies have two heads came from

im watching two men on win again love that show.
if only I could be as much of a slim bag as charlie.

so what do you guys think about the refugies that have been on tv so much.

send them back or let them stay?

my opinion is we should let them stay and send back the 50,000 british and irish that over stay there visas becouse
they hate the cold.

not that I have anything against irish and english.

"Bazza wouldn't even stand out or rate much of a mention in League."

No, he has not got the skills to handle the delicate finger work of rugby. Not to mention the nimble sphincter rugby requires for moments like that (and the dressing room :P ).

note; How he has wrapped his legs around the opponents waist, leaving his own sphincter open for a counter attack (a silly move in rugby). And he actually scored what is known as a 'Try' for penetrating past the second knuckle and received two points. If the guy in the white top had of returned the gesture and then proceeded to wipe his finger under the nose of his opponent he would have done what is known as converting a try and got four points. Its all very complex and a bit gay, not like AFL.

How does everyone feel that in around 1 month we will be amongst nations such as;

Burma
Cuba
Egypt
Iran
North Korea
Syria
Tunisia
Turkmenistan
Uzbekistan
Vietnam

When our governmant upgrades its pervasive internet surveillance on us from 'Under Surveillance' which we were currently rated as(every single aus citizen is under surveillance online, like my grandma every time she logs on, disgraceful they should not even think they have the right to that), to not only under surveillance but the content will be censored heavily by the Christian Lobby and the lunatics in the senate that say its to make the internet 'Family Friendly' and stop child porn. Which is BS, they will be using a secret list of thousands of websites to filter and have already stated, drug sites and sites that offer criminal instruction along with many others and the people maintaining this list are bible-bashing d-bags that have openly stated they want things such as any pornography banned from the web.

Christian Lobby thank Conroy for filtering update
http://www.efa.org.au/2009/12/01/christian-lobby-thank-conroy-for-filtering-update/#more-751

Christian Lobby buoyant on filtering after meeting Conroy
http://www.itnews.com.au/News/161533,christian-lobby-buoyant-on-filtering-after-meeting-conroy.aspx

here is a good place to catch up;
http://www.efa.org.au/

I know bureaucracy sometimes goes mad, but can a bible-bashing loony overnight (it seemed like overnight) pass a bill that strips the freedom of so many, so easily? Once this filter goes in, it will never go back to 100% un-censored. That is maybe something Australians will tell there grand kids about? the glory days of Unfiltered internet. And if the US people are reading and having a good old chuckle about this latest slap in the face by the aus government and thinking that will never happen to you (it wont get that bad here) think again! Heres some standard procedure that made it public, standard procedure as in you can bet that every big telco would do this to one extreme or the other;

Surveillance Shocker: Sprint Received 8 MILLION Law Enforcement Requests for GPS Location Data in the Past Yea
http://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2009/12/surveillance-shocker-sprint-received-8-million-law

The above company was found to have set up a web portal for any old law enforcement personnel could log and without warrant, subpoena or reasonable cause type in any phone number that was connected to the Sprint network, and it would instantly return GPS co-ordinates of the location of the phone plus personal bill details and who you had called and who called you and at what times etc etc. So every Sprint user was potentially under pervasive surveillance by law enforcement without even being a criminal or being suspected of being a criminal, as they did not need warrants or anything the information was freely given to them and they served 8million of these requests in a year!!!

When US people see the Aus internet filter pass in senate they should shudder in horror, as it is not a good sign for the future! 20 years ago it was unheard of to have a group of men clad in body armor and military gear armed with machine guns kick in your door and running through your house smashing everything terrorizing your family even if you were a really bad criminal. Nowadays it is expected even if your offense is not bad or you intend on going quietly, pervasive surveillance of everyone by the government, jack booted Nazis kicking in your door if you step out of line, the world is going crazy (or its just me, lol).

"that's a very intersting tradition neverseen it this side of the pond"

LOL, to be truthful no one down here had seen it either until that match.

Quote from the Wiki;
"During a 2001 clash with the North Queensland Cowboys, Hopoate, in an attempt to unsettle several of his opponents, inserted his fingers in three players' anuses, the first occurring during the seventh minute of play. At the conclusion of the match the matter was immediately referred to the rugby league judiciary where a case was put forward from both sides on 28 March. Hopoate claimed in front of the panel of judges that he was simply attempting to give all three players "a wedgie"[3] with his fingers, denying he had done anything wrong and that he was "a great believer in what happens on the field should stay there"[4].

The three victims in the case, Cowboys players Glenn Morrison, Peter Jones and Paul Bowman all disagreed with the reasoning put forward by Hopoate and his team. Jones stated, "It wasn't a wedgie. That's when your pants are pulled up your arse. I think I know the difference between a wedgie and someone sticking their finger up my bum."[5] Bowman stated that he was "disgusted" and "couldn't believe it."[6] As a result of this incident, radio comedy duo Roy and HG referred to Hopoate as 'Stink Finger', until he began his professional boxing career when they changed this to 'Stink Fist'."
