lol. Reading posts and stuff at this place, it kinda makes me laugh, because i have a question,
where is the line to be drawn at? We are amateur chemists right? We are by no means profession
al chemists, because if we where, then we would have bachelor or masters or even PhD degrees
in Organic Chemistry from a major university, and i somehow doubt that if any of us had those
credentials then we would be in this drug forum.
Don't get me wrong, i respect amateur drug cooks totally, they deserve respect, after all, they are
being oppressed by the government who will not let them make drugs, and ultimately they have to
play a game of cat and mouse with law enforcement. But all of that aside, it brings me to a questi
on, the entire difficulty of our art is not based on the fact that what we are doing is difficult, heck,
if you go to a modern organic chemistry lab at a major university, it is probably enough to make
most people here orgasm in anticipation, every conceivable reagent imaginable, all on the shelves,
complete with fancy equipment, and an unlimited amount of labware, flasks, and other glassware
specialized for every task, you also have an industrial strength vacuum pump, all kinds of hydrogen
ation devices, ultra-fancy distillation setups, boiling point meters, and everything else, rotary evap
orators and just everything imaginable, not to mention it's all computerized, you just pin in the digit
s on an LCD screen and the machines will do most of the temperature control and everything else
for you, in this regard, organic chemistry is hardly difficult, it's like cooking in a kitchen, and having
every ingredient and cooking implement there for you.
But why is it so hard for us? Well it's because we have to sweat blood in fear, we have to sweat
blood in finding the precursors, we have to sweat blood in our lifesyle, the way that we live, and
it is damn well wrong! And it damn well needs to change!
