I fuckinggoogledit whiseguys, but i was confused by:
Straight to E:
# VM&P Naptha - no substitutions (paint / hardware store)
# (Do Not use Colemans, pet ether, lighter fluid, etc.)
Straight to Bee III – The Pickled P:
Do not substitute for VM&P Naphtha. Shellite, white gas, petroleum ether and lighter fluid are NOT VM&P naphtha.
and documents like:
Product Identification
Synonyms: Ligroin; VM&P Naphtha; Benzin; Petroleum Naphtha, Naphtha ASTM, Petroleum Spirits, Petroleum Ether of varying boiling point ranges from 20 to 75C (68 to 167F)
CAS No.: 8032-32-4

| it's probably fake, or the author(s) don't know what they are talking about. try to find out the UN number of VM&P and see whats inside, i bet it's a mix of aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbons boiling in a range of 60-150degC. can be substituted for about anything. |
