These are interesting questions and I'm having a hard time answering them.
I'll get back to you more in depth on it later but just basically because i wanted too always have my own site, had an interested in chemistry, often drug chemistry, and thought the idea of "The Vespiary" was pretty cool.

We can say the word drug without it turning into a shit flinging, 20 page long thread with no further useful information.

This is a good point.

I think we need to make it so SWIx isn't used as often here though. I don't like it very much.

What do you like being used here?

The first person, "I placed the barrel of my McMillan 50 against the kitten. I knew this was about to get good." is not the popular style and wasps or whatever we refer to ourselves here as are hesitant to recount their criminal animal abuse acts in the first person even though history has shown it to be a rather ineffective protection once LE places 2 & 2 together, and these fables often help them paint an even uglier picture, no matter which SWIM was doing it.

So an omniscient third person, "The barrel of a McMillan 50 was placed against a kitten. The researcher eagerly awaited an expected positive outcome." is a better style?

Perhaps a recommended style guide that no one ever reads would be a nice waste of time.

How bout, research has shown that kittens are not resistant to the effects of a discharged McMillan 50. Further experimentation may be required. ;D

he replies "clandestine your honor"

yeah I third that,, I've had a few 'security alerts' when clicking on  direct links from here,

In fact, I cant be sure, but a couple of weeks ago, after being online here,,leaving the computa for long enough to  "go to sleep",, and on entering my password, my computa shat itself and had 'locked me out' of MY system, telling me there had been a start up problem, and to re-load it--which would wipe all the files-and I not only didnt have them "independently" backed up,, on a separate storage system (which I will do as soon as I can afford a decent/not too expensive terabyte HD) coz I sure as fuck didnt want to 'lose' them!!--but if I couldnt get 'into my system'  how could I possibly "back them up without removing my hard drive, and saving it independently

And being a 'beginner to computers',, I thought ...."I'm FUCKT!!!"

I took my laptop to where i had bought it and ( the "technical dude" (donkey dick) at the computer shop, and the "Head Technician told me it would cost me(with a 20% discount, coz I bought it from them,, "at least $120 to back up an reload my OS!!!"  which would wipe all my downloads!!!---Noooooo!!!  shit shit shit!

Thankfully,, a mate was able via phone , to help me get into my BIOS from which point I was able to regain access...can anyone suggest what happened?

Later  I ran a a AVG complete scan which told me I had 2 programs with unsigned certificates -(one being "allegedly" from Microsoft,,which 'might' have come through as an update??)....and considering this occurred while I had been 'online here'...I have no idea 'what happened'..the computer suggested, it had fuckt up possibly due to a program that was loading being "interrupted".. any Ideas anyone---also I HAD earlier that day 'accepted' an update from VLC,,which MAY have been downloading, when my computa went to sleep...???   Could this have caused this 'problem'?

Now if I try to put my computa to sleep, it wakes up grumpy and dysfunctional,,whereas if I put it into Hibernation,,No dramas,,"re-starts", no probs,,but sleeping or shutting it down, can cause me to get 'locked out'...so I have to drain the battery & diconnect the power,,and THEN when I start it again(not a 're-start' I can get in.....any ideas why it does this?

I was pretty surprised that the 'dude' tech,,made NO mention of the method I was taught to "reset" my system...I wonder if he would have done what I eventually did,,via the BIOS,,rather than all the shit he spun about "gotta remove the hard drive, then back it up, the replace the HD and re-load the data on it--but I would still 'lose' all the other programs, i.e. VLC that I had.....hmmmmm?
Was he "lying" to get the work,,or just ignorant? I'd love to know.....

Please pardon my ignorance,, but how can one be 'reasonably assured' a link is OK/safe to proceed to access?....I just googled the 'linked site',, and it said

"ZXing Decoder Online - zxing.org
ZXing Decoder Online. This is a simple page that will let you decode a 1D or 2D barcode found in an image online. Enter a URL below. ...
zxing.org/w/decode.jspx -

As i said ,please pardon my ignorance--but "what images/barcodes is Enkidu
 referring to?

I could use a hand. Someone very close to me missed a shot of glass and has a abscess on forearm. I obtained 99% DMSO and applied to the miss. It is red, has diameter of about 1.50" and .25" to .31" in height. I need to know how long and how often to apply DMSO. I know the inherent dangers of DMSO and its abilities to penetrate the skin. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
