i like the eclectic music like atom heart, nostrum, way out west, sasha "expander" is really good the problem is i start rolling at 3 am and the music would get veery loud i think that and the chemical odors are hazardous to one's anonymity.

here are a few good examples

1993 finland
milagro by atom heart

danny tenaglia

k klaass

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_N-FVGLavUQ&feature=related

i remember coming from the crack shack (lab) cruising down the highway and the highway lights just dancing now if that's entertainment everything was just esquisitely fun too, sad it does'nt last.
damn the good times.

I posted this on another board, but anyway I'm looking for more artists in the same vein as:

Shpongle
Entheogenic
Androcell
Bluetech
Dub trees
Hibernation
Adham Saikh's upbeat work
Ott's early work
Maybe some Celtic Cross
(no shulman)

anybody got any suggestions?

no phutureprimitive?  check out rites of passage and submerge.  with submerge, wait until 2/3 the way through the song when the synth hits

Never liked any of that dance music type stuff myself, or pop/rap.

That kind of noise makes me want to claw my own eyeballs out after a few minutes.

My playlist on my MP3 atm?

Draconian
Sirenia LOVE these guys, listening to them right now on youtube actually, some real good atmospheric piano, and a hawt female lead vocalist ;D
Opeth
Five finger death punch
The Haunted
Fields of the Nephilim
Nevermore
Khanate

I tend to go for either aggressive metal, or slow, haunting atmospheric or operatic doom type stuff.

I like some older rock though too, and bluesy stuff, my (now ex) g/f Hannah released a couple of albums, bluesy stuff, I like wishbone ash and Black sabbath most, ozzy is frickin' hilarious, although his choice of animal rights activities is.....questionable.

Nomen mihi Legio est, quia multi sumus

I'm hyperbolic, hypergolic, viral, chiral. So motherfucking twisted my laevo is on the right side.

skinny puppy was on back in the 90's the first industrial band you should see some of the satanic rituals they do on stage.
"god gave us maggots"
is a prime example.

Modest Mouse The Ionizes and Atomizes and Parting of the Sensory. Vesp if ya aint heard that one check it out please!

Parting of the Sensory is one of my favorites indeed.
The carbon analogue is great in it.

Also - have you noticed the themes in modest mouse? Always involving boats, cars, and the like?

All the songs of modest mouse are pretty great, but take a special kind of person to like them all, such as head south, etc..
Ugly Casanova = Modest Mouse, and so i like that band as well.

This song has been stuck with me for a few days now. It isn't as good when I hear it, but it is just stuck in my head constantly.

Its strange... I wonder what causes music to get stuck in ones head? or reoccurring sayings or thoughts?

I second listening to police scanners with "signal stalking" constantly running while doing work.  No good deed goes unpunished... you never know... one day..

Other stuff I have been listening to of late:

Even vast....god DAMN, the vocalist chick is fucking hawt, reminds me of my sadly ex classically autistic fiancee looks wise, and they don't come any foxier than that.

On the Turning away is one of the most beautiful songs I've eve heard. Has such a great meaning, and conveys it so effectively.

The music of that time show the true psyche of the people pushing the movement. It did indeed turn out a bit bad in the end but the message remains true all thru today. If not for the government things would have been quite different. Lets hope we don't make the same mistake of allowing them to destroy utopia all over again when we are granted a second chance in about 40 years or so....

Nice one...
I am not expert on electronic music but I just LOVE things like trance,hardcore,hardstyle,etc...things from 90's and anything similar!
Things like this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fOl_6qVFQ5Y
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gmGbgT9gUN8
and anything "harder" than that...

Anything with loud bass, raw energy and catchy tune, especially remixes of non-electronic classical things!

In other hand I can't stand slow and subtitle things like house and other "artistic" stuff...

I am huge fan of Classic, Rock and anything in between, and folk music from military marches to gospel and country!
Don't give damn about genre or political massage, if I have some feeling related to this music and see artistic note in it I love it!
(Beethoven,Wagner,Tchaikovsky,Edith Piaf,Rolling Stones,Johnny Cash,Dolly Parton,Pink Floyd,Ramones,Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphy's, Queen,Pink Floyd...)

This guy as impressive collection of ExYu rock, very nice and interesting subgenre of rock:
http://www.youtube.com/user/hikonline#p/u/105/-TmchKxDOFA

I hate modern music like most pop and any R'N'B,rap...it is tasteless brainwashing junk, crime against music!
