Fair enough, I do too!!!  but the burning noisy neuropathic pain is the worst, and its almost impossible to resolve, the only thing that worked for me for some time, was Sleep, induced by large quantities of prescribed opiates and they didnt help much (forget the veritable, PDA of drugs they "trialled" on me as well, gabapentin etc shit things) I like the 5000year history of 'opiate use' as being "the proof of the pudding" ;)

HAHA, yeah, I take gabapentin too. I wish they would just give me dilaudid and be done with it :|

Have you tried NMDA antagonists, hyppy? Some people with neuropathic disorders, such as phantom limb pain find that ket is the only thing that does anything for the pain. I found methoxetamine to work well on the neuropathy-induced sensory discomfort in my leg after they fucked up the op. I'm on pregabalin, now, just recently got put on it. Been on opiates for a long time, and they help with the normal pain from my knee, but not the nerve issues to the side.

As for whassisface's attitude...actually, its more his attitude, than what he said. As if he would expact congratulating for not making offensive comments. Sorry, but thats not something I do.

I know what you mean, but all opiates will cause tolerance,,so for me,, I'm "trying to" get the  docs to Rotate my meds on a two monthly basis,, e.g. I take drugs a+b for pain for two months, then switch to an "Pharmacokinetically, 'Equipotent dose' of ANOTHER couple of Narcotics, the Idea behind this being, that different narcotics utilise different receptors at differing rates, and so this is an attempt at not becoming too 'familiar' with Any Drug specifically--If The Powers that be 'come to the party' I'll let you guys know first thing!

There have been times when the ONLY time I didnt Hurt, was when I was asleep,,plus Severe Chronic Pain, can sometimes make some simple things SO HARD to Do!!! Its amazing just How Debilitating "Big Pain IS!"

Most Chronic Pain patients HAVE to cope with their pain :P,  however to say "KNOW,for SURE" that for say, 2 days a week, you could have a "those days, "off" Re; ANY  PAIN!!! ;D

  Dream on Hyppy :P

 P.S.

Man dont sweat it...thats just "his way", and the "intent" of his words is generally Not 'taken out of context' by, me, for example..I have Never 'taken Offense, at Any of his posts--he Even started a thread to 'explain Himself' to ALL---thats pretty cool IMHO

Just "rest Assured" Tsoggy me mate, NO one is "Havin a GO" at ANYONE with any form of disability--And IF I 'thought they were', they'd get a "Serve from Me" also

So, lets stick to "Peace love and mung beans" for ALL ;D 8)

what a classic thread.....more dumb questions....I have had the biggest grin on my face (where else?--dumb question!) reading this...I like it when folks are relaxed,, after all....

Why do we take drugs?  becoz we have the receptors/they're endogenous? TBH I dont know,,it just seems to make sense :o
I'm surprised this FACT hasnt come up more in the fight against the "war on drugz"

Oh, and another one,, "when do i stop being a "contributor" and become a member...just curious more than anything! ???

Also, if 50% of folks in the US of A support marijuana being legal,,why doesnt someone use that as a primary position to become president? maybe stoners are too slack to vote or ? but if you could get them to vote,,shit, I dont think ANY president gets 50% of the vote....hmmmmm

Yep, chronic pain fucking sucks. Been there, done that. Just got put on oxy, in addition to my regular pain meds (DHC and pregabalin for the neuropathic side of it), and booked in for a CT scan of the area in question.

Wish my MXE would hurry the hell up and arrive though.

Yes, well, its dose-dependent. Performance impairing at higher doses, effects differ to a degree with different routes of administration, such as duration of effect, amount of visual distortion (seems less with IV administration)

Needless to say, very recreational also.

One irritating thing about it though, is that the soluability (of multiple samples from multiple different suppliers over a fair time period) in H2O appears not to be too great (I believe the products are the HCl salt). Not measured it, but I wouldn't bother using a 1ml rig if its going to be dosed IM, IV or SC, I just couldn't get enough dissolved to attain the desired dose in a single shot. Rather not be poked any more than needs be with a needle.

A 2ml rig seems more suited for this drug. There always seems to be a little undissolved material, not much in a 2ml syringe, but its pretty significant when a 1ml rig is used. This appears still to be MXE, or at least, another, water-soluable byproduct, etc, for it does dissolve on addition of a further portion of H2O.

Needless to say, A micron filter should be used. Single use 'sterifilt' luer-snap filters are not expensive per unit.
