DMSO isnt probably the 'best' disnfectant to use---Iodine's good,,even savlon--badn aid and keep an eye on it -   IF the 'glass' was 'clean' and the swelling doesnt increase or the 'area surrounding the pin prick' doesnt start going black--seriously...then THEY SHOULD BE FINE...and a bolus dose of an antibiotic cant hurt...e.g take any antibiotic lying around from that last case of gonorrhea ,, and take 2-4 of them all together....
                 IF it gets "worse" and "the" are feeling crook,,go to  casualty....Better safe than sorry

   Tell them THE TRUTH and you'll be fine--they wont call the cops or do anything but help you 'fix the infection'

My opinion . No offence ment guys just saying my thoughts .

Getting a swelling after missing a vein is normal . If the swelling comes from bacteria the user was a fool and should thank GOD that he missed because if he hadnt he might have got something like sepsis = B-A-D

Dont take any antibiotics they are specific so throwing the wrong thing at the lump wont do him any good at all plus antibiotics have to be properly dosed and used over a time period thats specific to the job they are used for . If he doesnt take the right dose or take them for long enough it could cause the swelling to get worse if it comes from an infection . Antibiotics for animals may contain things that dont do humans good .

From what i`ve read dmso is not good for long term aplication .  Plus the swelling might not come from bacteria so there would be no point . Iodine as far as i know is only for open wounds and not for swellings .

First do ice cold salt water soaks and keep it and him still and see if the swelling goes down . The coldness should reduce the swelling and the salt draws water out and disinfects .  If it doesnt get less swollen or if it starts to hurt , swell up more , look puss like or he feels in the slightest bit ill go to an emergency ward of a hospital or a doctor he trusts .  In theory one can tell them everything but in practice one has to be carefiull . I have had a doctor break his hipocritic oath and testify to a court about what i had told him . Because of that and only that i was found guilty . You have to decide . If the arm is full of tracks theres no point in not telling the truth if it isnt think something else up ..... rusty nail , sewing needle or ? .


Oh and for fucks sake dont fix or take any more speed untill he knows whats happened because if its an infection a speeded up metabolism will make it EXTRA B-A-D

 Matey,,what I guess what happened, is that your friend, in "drug slang--'popped a vein'"....which means "going 'through' the vein",, rather than "into it",, which would most likely cause a big lump to appear pretty quickly,,1-2 mins which is the blood coming out  through the 'other side' of the vein that causes the swelling,and consequent 'bruising' etc
  Not even 'Close' to "life threatening",,,just fuckin scary the first time one does it...she Most Definitely got those drugs into her system almost as fast as ANY other way she took them,,just would've 'come on' differently ....I guess you could call it an '"unintended subcutaneous shot you missed",, and got the vein instead!!    Ooops! Yup Hippy he was a hipocrit so his oath was a hipocritic oath . It was the national death service and he was an everyday emergency doctor .

The guy was a cunt . I was in an intensive care unit because i`d had an overdose  . Got raped by the police a la abu-graib so i decided to stop takeing care and just went kamikazi fixing . I was near to death and he had to shout at me so i could hear . He said that he needed to know what i`d taken to be able to treat me . I said several times hipocratic oath to remind him that it was illegal for him to tell anyone and he said yes after each time . Then i told him i`d had 3 fixes = 2 double palfium then 2 double palfium and then 6 diconal  . He refused to give me dialysis because it was an overdose . So he did battlefield tech on me = stuck a scalpel through my stomach , without any anasthetic , and then shoved a tube into my belly so far that i couls feel it on me poop shoot . Then he let 1 liter of salt water in evry hour , 20 mins going in , 20 in and 20 syphoning out , for 4 days . Then one day "rest" and then again for 4 days then a "rest" day again and again for another 4 days .  It fuckin hurt .  = no sleep for 15 days . He cut 8 holes in me gut over the 12 days and never gave me an anastetic . The last time i got an infection = had an absesss wich hurt to fuck but the fucker wouldnt believe it allthough i was screaming me head off  .... he said i was a junkie trying to get him to give me some pain killers........ it burst and about a liter of puss came out into me gut = it was as big as a pineaple and fuckin PAINFULL even befopre it burst... . Another gem of medical help was when they gave me a blood transfusion ....... of the wrong blood group ......... twas like someone had injected me with half a liter of BOILING water .  

Didnt piss or shit for more than a month and when i did shit i filled two bed pans

While the "treatment" was going on all me mates came and rolled me joints every day wich i smoked in the room and later in the public ward .........

Had colapsed lungs , stroke , congestion of the heart and lungs , hypotension , hypothermia and kidney failure . After the first two days he put me in a room set aside for people to die in . The fucker came and walked up and down in front of the bed and i said "Youve come to tell me i`m going to die and you dont know how to do it" and he said yes . Then we had a debate about a dyalisis machine wich would have saved me and he refused me one saying that there werent any free . i said 24/7 and he said nights they are free but there was no one to clean them at night . I offered to clean it but he said my life wasnt worth saveing because i`d had overdosed = junkies arent worth saveing .

Chapter 2 - "Just-us"......

The pigs went to him and he made a statement . They took me to court for posesion of the 6 diconal and offered his statement as the only evidence . I told them to fuck off and said its not admisible as evidence because it was my doctor and also because i was on my death bed . I had a S-H-I-T solicitor and he said its OK and that they could present it . The judge looked suprised and perplexed . Then when the S-H-I-T solicitor started his defence he said to the court that the case should be dismissed because a doctors staement wasnt admisible as evidence under the law nor was a deathbed statement. The judge looked suprised and perplexed again and said it was to late because the statement had already been presented and that he should have oposed its presentation and that if he had have done the case would have been thrown out = i eventualy got sent to prison on remand and then later got sentanced to more time . To cap it all after i did my time the fuckers in the prison ....... FORGOT ...... to let me out on the friday and didnt remember untill the following teusday ....... in wich time i had to clean the toilets and showers with a tooth brush over and over again.........
