I`m not sure if i`ve missunderstood and / or if i didnt explain clearly so i think i need to make some things clear --->

To Sedit .I was in no way sugesting that you were wrong or talking out of your arse Sedit and if it came over like that i am sorry .

To everyone . I was talking about the situation as it was in the unUK in 1976 . Then it was not illegal for a doctor to make a statement to the police about a patient but the police and the courts couldnt force him to do it . A court could acept a statement from a doctor if the patient didnt object but if he did the court would not have acepted it and would have thrown the case out .That information was know to me before i told the doctor what i had taken and was confirmed by two solicitors , one before the case and one after the case , and by the judge .

A solicitor was representing me . It wasnt my solicitor . The case and the law was so clear cut that he sent a junior partner to represent me and that guy fucked up . He was the one the court was talking with and not me . After i told the police to fuck off he said to the court that it was OK to acept the statement so they did . I was in no fit state to think straight or argue with the solicitor because i was still very ill and the court had to keep makeing pauses so that i could lie down . They had to send the police to a chemists to get medicine for me . I was on 160 mg of valium and 4 times the maximum dose of fortral a day because of the pain i was in .

I could have sued the doctor for damages and have asked for a disipülinary hearing against him by the doctors asociation . If i had have done that he would have had to pay damages and he would have been disiplined by the doctors asociation .

The only reason i told him what i had taken was to save my life and i only did it because it didnt incriminate anyone . I would not give information to the police to save my life . I have never and never will give information to the police and i think that people who do should be severely dealt with . Anyone who does anything illegal should keep their mouths closed and the only people that should know anything about it are those that need to know and then they should only know the absolute minimum .

The reason why the police hounded me 24 / 7 , hit me on several ocasions , planted evidence on my on several ocasions , made false statements against me on several ocasions and finaly did the abu-graib on me was because i wouldnt give them information .

The reason that they were after me , that i only found out about later , was because two of my nearest relations were giveing them information and false information about me . If they found out that i had taken any drugs they rang the police up because they were jealous . They knew that i was in posesion because i lived with them some of the time, because they were custopmers of mine and because other people told them i had had drugs .

I have never made drugs and have never been caught doing anything illegal other than for possesion of drugs for my own use .

I dont think i`m cool and i dont want to make people think i`m cool . I often say things in what i hope to be a funny way and use myself as an example to explain points but not to try to apear cool . Thats also the reasoning why i take the piss out of myself more than i do about anyone or everyone else .

I hope that that came across OK and not in any way negative . Please acept that i have dificulty comunicateing and if anyone doesnt understand or has any dificulty please ask me about it and lets talk about it .

EDIT - Um........Errrrrrr...... I just re-read the whole thread and think maybe i did missunderstand ....... SORRY ....... i`m haveing a testosterone overkill at the moment because my daughter has apropriated my last cash and gone AWOL ..... AGAIN ...... ...... and i havent slept for a few nights ........... Probably best to shove this off into the vacuous posts section ............. LOL

Na TLS that was not directed at anyone inparticuler. I said that to make the point that if your doing something illegal it would be dumb to tell anyone that didn't directly need that knowledge, AKA an accompliss and as far as thats concerned they are normally a bad idea in themselfs.

The point being, that it shouldn't BE an insult at all, most people who are MR are good people, its rare to see deliberate cruelty, hypocrisy, backstabbing perpetrated by MR people, but just look how much of that you see dripping from NTs.

Indeed, I have dated a few mentally retarded girls, and they have without exception, been very loving, and straight up in my dealings with them. I find I connect with them better emotionally, and feel more kinship with them, than I do any NTs.

'spastic' or 'spacker' are just as bad, worse in fact. And none of those terms should be used as an insult against the deserving, there are plenty of other epithets and curses available to put your average piece of bipedal, mammalian diseased canine ordure down a peg or three, without having to lower yourself to taking the piss out of genuinely mentally retarded people.

I think that it would be good if we want to make comments about anyone or what anyone has said that we say who and / or what .

Another thing is that people often feel more got at and defensless when comments are made by members of staff on sites as on a lot of sites there is a stupid heirarchy where the staff can say what they want and get away with it and when people reply they get a big stick waved at them .

I didn't think it directed at me, TLS. It was the fact that he used the term at all. Like I said, it was not ME he insulted, but the attitude behind it. I would object if somebody called my enemy a retard, or spastic. Of course I would make it quite clear to the enemy, that they are in fact, the bastard-arsed crowbegotten mother of a thousand diseased cuntflaps, and that I wasn't objecting for their benefit, but nevertheless, its not a term I think decent human beings should use in insult.

As for the staff, I think they are pretty good here, but some places you get some real dickeyes, I got banned from wrongplanet soon after I joined, possibly the same day in fact, and I had made a grand total of three posts, if I remember right, one of them an introduction, I think another was a reply in that same thread, and participated in a single other thread, none of it offensive. One of the mods, fuck knows who just decided to exercise their banhammer (I'm not the only one of us who get fucked at WP for no reason, or for the most banal, insignificant, trivial shit, they play favourites and generally act like wankers, in many cases....or would do, if it weren't the case that it is not, in fact an act)

Yes, it is indeed. But that is besides the point. I think I made it abundandly obvious in my last post as to why. And context no.1 does not fit the way you were using the term in the slightest.

But to make it clearer, it would be just the same as if I were to take umbrage at something you said, and responded with 'don't be such a big dumb fucking jew about it' or 'shut your christ-damned face, I don't want to see those big nigger lips flapping again, fucker'

Whilst you could have done something to deserve an insulting putdown, using terms like those above, would be considered highly offensive by many, not because I directed an insult at you, but the nature of the insult itself.

I would laugh in the face of anybody that called me a retard, stupid, idiot etc. IRL, or otherwise cast aspersions on my intelligence, it simply wouldn't be worth doing much else (apart from putting my knee in their groin for use of the first term that is), because its simply rediculous, I am nothing of the sort, and I know it. But calling an arsehole a retard/spastic etc, is not just insulting to the arsehole, but its comparing the mentally retarded to the arsehole at the same time.

Its a term that has been used of plenty of people on the autistic spectrum for one, and as for mentally retardation itself, and those with it, that is quite a few of my friends, and sexual/relationship partners you are using as an insult there, so no, I don't appreciate it one bit.

It's called a trigger or button - sedit accidentally pushed a button for tsog. Sometimes people have really intense reactions to seemingly innocent words or actions that cause unusually strong emotions and defensive reactions. At the time they often don't realize that their responses are over the top. Usually once they calm down they wonder at the intensity of their response.

I've spent a year trying to get on top of my buttons and triggers. It is a mechanism of the brain that remembers certain things and creates a short cut defense for it. The HPA sends out chemicals which can alter the way you hear and perceive language - like a filter looking for trouble.

I actually taped conversations with my husband because blow ups would happen so often. When I listened to them from a calm space I was amazed at how nasty I sounded, and was able to see how the defensiveness had warped my perception of what he was saying. With a lot of work I am mostly able to at least know I have been triggered and back off til I am calm again.

Generally forums like this one and wetdreams people use language however they like and people don't take offense at it - this ain't politically correct country. (Thank the Gods!)

Agreed. Moderation in all things, but triggers aren't funny - especially when so many have injuries. That term is one I try VERY hard not to use.
